Hi, I am Elizabeth Adams ( Elizabeth.adams.gr10@auksun.com ). I am a virtual Grade 10 e-teacher. I am an enthusiastic, committed educator with an innate ability to understand and motivate my students. I am an LMS coordinator and curriculum developer. An important aspect of my philosophy of teaching is being able to meet all students’ needs. I believe that every student has something to gain and something to offer, whether it is in intelligence, talent in art, or being positive. My placement at AukSunLMS Center School for my second field experience truly taught me how to put this ideology into practice. I Introduce concepts into curriculum related to lifelong learning. I am committed to maintaining high standards of education with an emphasis on developing prudence and wisdom in my students. – “make learning affordable” and I have been teaching English since 2008 in a variety of environments. From private tutoring, to classrooms, as well as teaching over the Internet, I have had many wonderful experiences in my job. I love what I do, and I'm looking forward to sharing what I know with non-native English speakers from all around the world. To tell you a little more about myself, currently, I am working from Montreal, Canada, but I was born in Poland. When I first moved to Canada at the age of seven, I remember the problems I had communicating with other kids, and the frustration I felt throughout my English learning experience. However, after some help from teachers and friends, and a lot of time and practice, I was able to learn the language that I now teach. The experience of being an immigrant has driven me to become a better English teacher, since I am familiar with the challenges and difficulties that new English speakers face!
